California R-1 has launched a new communication platform designed to better connect our schools, families, and community.
Parents and Guardians: This app will become your primary communication tool for communicating with teachers, staying updated on classroom and school activities, and receiving important school information in one central location. The app is now live and available for download and exploration.
Account Access and Activation: You may log in using your phone number or personal email connected to Infinite Campus. Middle school and high school students will also need to activate their accounts through the school website.
Language Access: This app is available in multiple languages. Please select the language that best meets your family’s needs. Any messages sent or viewed will be translated as needed, so please feel comfortable using the language that is easiest for your family.
Important Notes: This system will eventually replace other communication tools such as SportsYou, ClassDojo, and Remind. Full classroom communication through Rooms will officially begin next school year. Please do not expect Rooms to be active this school year, as this is a soft launch for learning and preparation. Limited use may begin during summer school. You do not have to download the app; all information can also be accessed through the school website by logging in.
Alerts and Notifications: Text alerts will be used for urgent information only, such as school closures or emergencies. For all other updates, please check the app regularly and enable notifications.
