📢 Invitation for Bid – California High School PAC Set Design Addition
The California R-1 School District is requesting proposals for the California High School Performing Arts Center (PAC) Set Design Addition.
The project includes a 1,320-square-foot workshop addition attached to the existing PAC, featuring open workspace and a single-occupancy restroom. The project also includes site work, a concrete drive, and a new ADA ramp connecting the existing parking lot to the addition.
📅 Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference: Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. CDT
📍 Location: Performing Arts Center at California High School
1501 West Buchanan Street, California, MO 65018
Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory for all prospective prime bidders.
📅 Bid Due: Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. CDT

All bidders must comply with Missouri Prevailing Wage Law and E-Verify requirements. A 5% bid bond is required, and the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract amount.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

🔧 Ag Power: Rebuilding Small Engines!
Our Ag Power students are getting hands-on experience learning the ins and outs of rebuilding small engines! From taking engines apart and inspecting components to learning how everything works together, students are putting their skills to work in the shop.
These real-world projects give students valuable experience in mechanical skills, problem-solving, precision, and troubleshooting—all while preparing them for careers in agriculture and beyond!
